6. Finalising & Sharing Your Event

Learn how to find your Natter Event, share the attendee link, and manage your event before it starts - including editing, duplicating, copying the link, and deleting.

Once your event is saved, everything you need to share and manage it lives on the Events page. This article covers finding your event, sharing the attendee link, and making changes before the event starts.

Finding Your Event

Select Events in the left-hand navigation panel to see your scheduled events. The page has two tabs:

  • Upcoming - events that are scheduled but haven't yet taken place.

  • Completed - events that have finished, where you can review results and insights.

Each event is listed with its name, date, organiser, event type (SINGLE or SERIES), and status. Use the Search Event box to find a specific event quickly if you have a long list.

What you can do with each event depends on your permissions - Administrators and hosts have management options that standard registrants don't.

From here you can either open the three-dot (…) menu at the end of an event's row to manage it directly (see below), or select the event to open its full Event Details page - showing the banner, name, date and time, status, organiser, and the number of participants registered.

Sharing Your Event Link

Natter uses a simple copy-and-paste approach to sharing, giving you the flexibility to distribute your event link however best suits your organisation.

To copy the link, click the three dots (…) beside your event and select Copy Event Link. The same option is available from the three-dot menu on the Event Details page itself.

Once copied, share the link through whichever channel works for your audience, for example:

  • Email

  • A messaging platform such as Slack or Microsoft Teams

  • During an all-hands, town hall, or meeting on Zoom, Google Meet, or similar

Participants who open the link can pre-register ahead of the scheduled start time.

💡 Tip: There's no in-platform email or embed feature by design - copy-and-paste keeps you in control of how and where your event is promoted internally.

Managing Your Event

Administrators have three options in the three-dot (…) menu, available both from the Events list and the Event Details page:

  • Duplicate Event - create a copy of the event, useful for running the same format again without rebuilding it from scratch.

  • Copy Event Link - copy the attendee link to share (see above).

  • Delete Event - permanently remove the event.

Editing Your Event

To make changes, click the edit (pencil) icon on the Event Details page. You can update your event right up until it starts; once an event has been started, it can no longer be edited.

💡 Tip: Because you can edit any time before the event begins, it's fine to save your event to generate and share the link early, then refine the details later as plans firm up.

Single and Series Events

The Event type column shows whether an event is a SINGLE one-off or part of a SERIES. You choose this when scheduling your event - see Creating a Natter Event: Overview & Setup for setting up a series across multiple dates.

The Event Details Tabs

The Event Details page includes three tabs:

  • Description - the event description you set during creation.

  • What is Natter? - a walkthrough video that helps first-time participants understand how Natter works.

  • Hosts - the list of hosts running the session.
