Steps to Complete the Natter Tech Check:
Go to the Natter Tech Check Page
Enter Personal Information:
Fill in your name, email, and location to begin the test.
Select where you are currently located (e.g., at home, in the office, at a client site, or other).
Click Next: Browser to proceed.
Browser Compatibility Check:
The system verifies your browser and operating system compatibility.
Features such as background blur and AI noise suppression are checked for support.
If any incompatibilities are detected, the system will prompt recommendations for optimal browser settings.
Click Next: Microphone and Speaker to continue.
Microphone & Speaker Test:
Ensure your microphone is enabled, then speak to test its functionality.
Select the appropriate microphone and speaker from the dropdown menus.
Use the Test Speaker button to confirm audio output is working correctly.
Click Next: Camera when done.
Camera Check:
Choose your preferred camera input and ensure the feed is visible.
If needed, enable background blur for privacy.
If your camera feed is not displaying, ensure that permissions are granted in your browser settings.
Click Next: Streaming to proceed.
Streaming Quality Test:
The system runs tests on video and audio streaming stability.
This step ensures that your internet connection can support a smooth video conferencing experience.
A green "Streaming Quality is Good" message confirms optimal conditions.
Click Next: Results to review the final report.
Tech Check Results:
A summary of your browser, microphone, speaker, camera, connectivity, and streaming compatibility will be displayed.
If all checks are successful, you are ready to join your Natter Event.
